CV Writing:

This is your ticket to the interview (or not!) Always remember your CV is your first opportunity to make a good impression, so it makes sense to think carefully about what you want to say, and what it says about you. The following are some tips on writing a CV:

• Never forget that it is your ability to do the job that the employer is looking for so always include not only your skills but your achievements too.
• Promote (higher up in a list of bullet points) the areas of previous roles that are relevant to the new role you want
• Keep your CV short as future employers do not want to search through pages of text. You should keep your CV to two pages, three at the most.
• Ensure that your CV is set out clearly in an easy to read typeface
